Shalom Ohalecha - Marriage Counseling Fund Initiative

“It is an honor for me to be able to say thank you to Shalom Ohalecha after what it has done for me and my family. When Rabbi Weiner reached out and asked me to write this message, I felt so humbled that I got this opportunity to share what Shalom Ohalecha did for me and to urge you to donate and help people like me and my husband, people who so deserve and want couples therapy and want to create a union, create a new family.  
My husband and I both grew up in a horrible situation with different kinds of abuse. We both wanted so much good for ourselves despite everything we’ve been through. In the beginning,  everything seemed to be going great. Later on, however we started to notice how all the pre-learned mechanisms from our childhood, our coping mechanisms, our ways of interaction and communication were pretty faulty. The way we survived until now could no longer work for our marriage. We were both determined to create an amazing new world for ourselves and our children and that would not be possible without the help of Shalom Ohalecha. We paid for our own wedding and had no means to pay for couples therapy. When Shalom Ohalecha stepped in, they made it possible for us to get the professional help we so desperately needed and we are now getting the help we need in order to create the world we want for ourselves and our children, piece by piece.  
Whether you are here to donate or if you just want to know what Shalom Ohalecha does, here is what they do: They help people from really extreme backgrounds who need real help, they also help people who just need help. here is the inside of what it has done for me and how it’s changed my life, my husband’s life and my future generations, because the version of me that’s going to show up when my children come is a version that was never possible before Shalom Ohalecha stepped into our life!
